We are a VDWS licensed wing foiling school. Since 2020, the FLAMINGO WING FOIL CENTER is a watersport center based at the beautiful Langebaan Lagoon, about 1 hour north of Cape Town South Africa. In cooperation with the Windtown Lagoon Hotel Langebaan, we can offer the best services for an unforgettable wing foil experience. The crystal blue waters of the Langebaan lagoon, are the guarantee for your unique wing foil experience.

Because of its location, ideal wind and warm water conditions, Langebaan has become a very popular destination for the overseas water sports enthusiasts who spend between 3 – 6 months of the year using the ideal waters.

We offer WING FOIL Lessons + Rental and for no wind days we have a E-Foil or SUP-Rental. Wing foiling is what we love. Since 2020.

Our Mission

The Flamingo Wing Foil Center is founded in January 2020 by Wilfried Christl Origin from Austria, with a big Watersport background.
Catamaran Sailing, 35 Years Windsurfing and 20 Years Kitesurfing and since September 2019 Wingfoiling.
After Visiting SA for 25 Years South Africa for watersport he found his last Destination in SA Married with a South African Lady.

WHY?
On a Sunny Day in August 2019 with a nice South Easterly Wind,
I saw funny things like Butterflys flying on the Rietvlei.
This must be Wing Foiling, saw a Video from Robby Naish before.
The Local Heros Ivan and Nathaan van Vuuren made a big show on there Foils.
I was straightaway fascinated.
I started with my best friend and Neighbour, Tim Venter into this new adventure.
After a long way to get into this sport with all the trouble and wrong equipment, I decided to open a school to beware other people from all this problems we had.
